Optimize Your Ads

Top Five Holiday Preparedness Tips
With holidays quickly approaching, it’s time to prepare your ads to attract the increasing number of shoppers on Amazon.com. Here’s our list of the top five things you can do today to prepare for this holiday season.

Tip #1 - Increase your daily budget by 30% or more to keep your ads live. In 2010, Amazon.com was the most visited retail website on Black Friday (WebProNews) and Cyber Monday (Experian). Make sure your ads are always active during this peak period.

Tip #2 - Review your CPC bids (login required) for optimal ad placement and exposure on Amazon.com.

Tip #3 - Update your feed daily via FTP server to increase click conversion by removing out of stock items from your uploads automatically.

Tip #4 - Add images for ads to be displayed in targeted placements.

Tip #5 - Upload your entire product catalog so that you may capture all possible sales.

Q. Why are my additional product attributes not showing up on a detail page?

A. If your product is new to Amazon.com, we create a detail page and display the product information that you provide in your feed. If your product matches an existing product in our catalog, we may use the information you provide to enhance the existing page.
